The Biggest Question

As I mentioned in my previous blog,there are so many big oppurtunities being created by the so called IT boom.But the question that remain yet to be answered is ,Is this boom helping India or the 'Aam Aadmi' really.I recently studied that nearly 90 lakh houses in Tamil Nadu dont have the basic sanitary facilities.The boom,the bubble ,the oppurtunities are all for the one who could afford to study a well respected Under graduate course....

But ,What is in there for those who study in Government schools and come from villages .They may belong to any of the backward classes and they may be the ones who really need the quotas ,But those seats are being plundered by the rich people in the city.....

Even I find scholarships in the college given to people who dont need them and the really needed people are cheated or misled into an illusion..

The happiest moment of my Life

Though I feel that this blog is not meant to describe what is happening in my personal life, I would like to share how my life looks to be changed and relaxed in Four days .

The first day was 1-06-07 ,I got placed in Cts affter some huge hardwork like which I have never done that before.I thought ,I have done somthing I can be proud of...

The fourth day 4-06-07 ,I got placed in Accenture ,one among 40 students from our college.

I thought that people who read my blog should know this details about me.....

Humans Vs Humanity

Sometimes, during the late night hours, as my thoughts go beyond the horizon, I used to wonder what man has done ever since he evolved. May be he can think he is proud of the scientific and technological accomplishments he has made right from the day he has invented the fire, wheel etc. Today, Technology has developed in such a way that the whole world can be destroyed by a single click .Has man proved himself to be the most civilized and cleverest of all creatures in these million years.

The recent album by A.R.Rehman just provoked some thoughts in me regarding poverty alleviation in the world and the very fact that more than 3 million People (half the world’s population) live below poverty line. What has man achieved ever since the day of his evolution? He might have reached the pinnacle of technological advancements and the zenith of scientific developments .But, hasn’t he failed in the very basic thing of showing love to his fellow beings. I always wonder, has man done all those things that he is made to do without showing the following qualities to his fellow beings….

Compassion

Solace

Devotion

Respect

Truth

Understanding

Peace

Tolerance

Kindness

Justice

Harmony

And if you think accomplishment is achieving something that other mortals can’t, then do it with all of the above qualities. The happiest thing that you would ever do in your life is doing something that makes others happy…

Celebrate Humanity, Love Others, Love Yourselves….

Indian media doing what it should't be

The people from the media constantly say that the media is exaggurationg and dramatising trivial issues, but the media is continuing to offend us by showing pictures or incidents that we dont want to see.We dont want to see Aish-Abhisek wedding or any other bollywood news for 5 minutes every hour.

Take this news:Subedar Major Bana Singh of the Eighth Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry was the only serving personnel of the Indian defence establishment with a Param Vir Chakra till the Kargil operations.

Do u know what he is doing now?He is denied a loan for a petrol bunk and a liquor shop.He is doing agriculture to manage his family.And is this the credit that the nation give to a man who has got the greatest medal for patriotism in the country.

And Is this not the important news that the media has to bring to notice.We dont want to kisses in news channels.We need you to improve India's status not the opposite.

Life goes on...

Today is the last day in college for our seniors...I saw them getting autographs and other stuffs.It just made me wonder the various mysteries and intricavies that life has for us .Life is such a big thing that we are nearly puppets in its ropes.We all have different aims and goals and the point that one has to go away from others to acheive that goal comes regularly from time to time.

May be these things are taken with maturity and profound mentalaity ,but the truth is we are somehow made to accept what life is about to give us .We all are driven by something that keeps us living even if we face the difficulties.
